Why This Spot Matters
Astoria Central Parking at 31-57 31st St operates in the sub-basement of the Astoria Central luxury residential building. This parking facility is located within a residential building but is commercially operated and open to the public for paid parking. With 143 Google reviews and a 4.1 rating, it has one of the largest review samples of any parking garage in Astoria, providing a more statistically reliable picture of the customer experience than facilities with only a handful of ratings. The garage offers daily, hourly, and monthly parking with valet service, and goes well beyond basic vehicle storage with amenities including EV charging stations (Tesla-compatible), bicycle parking, vehicle storage, and a detailing service branded as “Carcierge.” These premium touches set it apart from typical neighborhood garages. Astoria Central Parking also maintains its own website at astoriacentralparking.com and provides convenient online reservations through booking platforms. Additionally, the facility provides valet services for local businesses, extending its operations beyond the garage itself. For Astoria drivers weary of battling alternate side parking rules and risking a flat $65 ticket on sweeping days, a dedicated garage spot — especially one with EV charging and detailing — offers a compelling upgrade over street parking. The combination of high review volume, strong rating, and a broad suite of services makes Astoria Central one of the more full-featured parking operations in the neighborhood.
