Johnson City Winter Parking Rules
The Village of Johnson City enforces seasonal alternate street parking to ensure safe and efficient snow plowing for all residents. These rules are strictly in effect from December 1st through March 31st.
The 5:00 PM Rule & Exceptions
Vehicles must park on the even side of the street on even calendar days, and the odd side on odd calendar days. The changeover occurs every day at 5:00 PM, where you must "park for tomorrow."
Important Exceptions: Because two odd days fall in a row, the rules are adjusted on December 31st / January 1st and January 31st / February 1st. Always check local street signs during these dates.

Parking tickets must be paid or disputed within 30 days of issuance. Failure to do so will result in an additional $15.00 penalty. Please note that the Village Court does not accept personal checks.
